Its Been Awhile, But Have We Had Fun!

Sorry for the delay in postings. For the first week we were too tired and worn out to stay up late enough to construct a new post. Once we regained some energy (and caught up with some sleep), Mike's dad showed up and we've been going non-stop ever since. The visual proof follows.

Sunday: we spent part of the day at Bear Lake. We all had a wonderful time! If any of you want to come hang out at the lake with us, just let us know and we'll be ready!

Contemplating some seagull-chasing.

Teaching Vi about the wonders of sand scooping and piling.

Playing in the water.

Beautiful lake with mountains in the background.

Saturday: we traveled to the Golden Spike National Historic Site. Took a hike, watched the reenactment, had a good time.

The Jupiter, the Central Pacific's engine.

The 119, Union Pacific's engine.

The engines meet.

Violet got pretty tired from a long day in the sun.

Tired, but still interested in the engines.

There are still more adventures to report on, but I thought I'd portion out the fun. Enjoy, and look for another post soon!

Great shots of what looks like a great vacation. Everyone loves sand in their shorts. Violet does look like a big girl, but she still has that sweet little toddler belly and yummy little thumb in her mouth. So sweet!

The whole family sporting fun hats! The picture of Vi with mama is the sweetest! What a beautiful little girl! I can't wait to meet her!

Mike, you look like Dziadziu in the beach picture where you have the blue shirt on. I am not sure why... just seems like it. it might be the hat...

Kate, I'll take that for the thinly veiled compliment that it is. ;-)
