This evening we went to the home of our friends, the Dolnys. They were having a Wasatch Back Relay team meeting (Mike is a team member), and we got the special honor of having dinner with them beforehand. We had a nice time, and Violet got to experiment with some new finger foods - whole shelled peas and corn on the cob.
As you can see, she thought this was a brilliant idea and proceeded to try to stuff the entire corn cob into her mouth!
And the video from last week that was swallowed by the computer - Violet talks!
Violet and I had a great time visiting friends and family in Idaho last week. We've got lots of pictures and a few videos, but I'll have to post them in a day or two. It takes quite a while to upload videos to the blog, and I'm getting too tired to stay up any longer!

Violet is a genius, we are pretty sure.
We had the same kind of storm yesterday and the day before. Some of the irrigation ditches overflowed, even with some of the pumps from the reservoir turned off. One of our neighbors had his shop flooded with several inches of water runningh through.
A car & driver was washed off of hwy 78 near Murphy and into the river. The flow from Swan Falls Dam is being shut down for a few hours today to try to find them.
Violet is so cute with her talking! This weather is truly strange and frankly, starting to become downright unwelcome!
We look at these pictures every day and miss you.
How cute is she! She is becoming such a little person! Love that we get to witness all her milestones this way! I should really start a blog... hmmm...
