Day 1 - Getting to know the hospital

So as of a few minutes ago, the prettiest girl in the world is 24 hours old.

Critical stats:
Joanna is OK, feeling good and not as tired as she thought she would be. She didn't take any meds during the delivery (no epidural) and this will speed her recovery. No epidural? She's tough as nails. Baby name: Violet Ray Wojcik. Violet and Ray are family names on Joanna's side and Wojcik is a family name on Mike's side. The name Violet is just plain cool. Time of birth: 16:37, Oct 21, 2008. Weight: 7 lbs, 1.5 oz. Length: 19 inches.

Little Violet sleeps alot, almost more than a typical housecat. I (Mike) changed two diapers today. Violet attempted to make it three diapers when she dropped another dookie during change #2.
