In the Snow

We've finally gotten some snow! We've actually had some already, but it didn't last more than a few hours. Now we've got several inches that are sticking around, with more forecast in the next few days. It is beautiful, refreshing, and invigorating. Finally, winter has arrived!

And now that winter has arrived, it feels like it might be getting close to Christmas. It just wasn't feeling like that until the snow arrived, though. So now we've put up some lights and a solstice tree. At our house, it is a solstice tree rather than a Christmas tree. And yes, that means we celebrate the solstice. That's just how we roll...

Violet is loudly and emphatically demanding some food, so I must keep this short. Happy Holidays!

mike, i feel like all you're missing in that picture is a pitchfork. that's not a devil reference but an American Gothic reference...

There will be some snow here when you get here, at least we hope so.
We are very much looking forward to seeing our beautiful Violet who is at the very LEAST "average" and mostly a really beautiful, smart baby with all the parts working exceptionally well. My nursing specialty is DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES NURSING and in Vi I have seen nothing that leads me to think she could even MAYBE have a little(no pun intended) problem.
